Clarity provides security

Different situations require different tools for the best result. For two days, a management team was given the opportunity to see what they could do to avoid leading based on their own fears and insecurities, and instead lead according to what their followers need then and there. When is it necessary that she or he be extra clear? When is it most important to inspire co-workers? In what situations is it most meaningful to give staff the opportunity and power to influence and assume responsibility? Being able to distinguish between these types of situations is a valuable tool for a courageous leadership. It creates security within the team, and makes it easier to create common goals and together work to attain them.
